INFORMATION FOR THE 2010/11 WINTER SEASON
Dear
All,
In
light of certain events that have been highlighted to the committee it has been
necessary to issue this note to all teams:
If you need to postpone a match you must
inform the other team and the league secretary by the Thursday before the match.
If any team does not practise this on two occasions during a season, they will
be disqualified from the league.
The Castle will no longer be a drop off venue.
For
all matches, please write full names (first name and surname) neatly and
in block capitals throughout the season and especially when a new player
is used.
Please
could all teams provide an email address, a name and a telephone number
of their captain or a player, should we need to contact you, on the back of the
first weeks score sheet.
All
captains must ensure that the score
sheet is separated at the start of
any match and each captain is responsible for copying the opposition’s players
name as appropriate during a match.
All
teams must use the format of ‘1’ for a win and ‘0’ for a loss throughout the season and not ticks and crosses.
We
appreciate and thank you in abiding by these changes as it will assist the
committee in running the league as smoothly as possible with minimal
discrepancies.
